Course Description
All Safety Management Systems (SMS) require a systematic organized, thorough, and competent assessment of how well efficient and effective the systems are working. The Safety systems must not only reflect the aspirations of the Company but also be in line with the National Legislative requirements. A competent Auditor will be able to critically examine the SMS and identify weaknesses and suggest improvements where necessary. A safety audit is a systematic critical examination of an organization’s health and safety, involving a structured process including the use of questions and the examination of documentation, to collect independent information with the aim of assessing the effectiveness and reliability of the system.
