This public outreach and course will introduce you to the fundamentals of public engagement and what you need to do to make sure it has a positive impact on your project.
During this public outreach course you will explore the key aspects of public engagement. You will learn what it is, when to do it (and when not to), the benefits and risks it can bring, and the basics of how to plan and deliver it, developing a mechanism for feedback, developing an exit strategy and a sustainability plan. Drawing on best practice research, this public outreach and engagement course will be practical and can be applied immediately in your workplace.
