Course Description
This training focuses firstly on the principles of environmental issues and environmental management practices, with attention to the health of both humans and the ecosystem. Fundamental and emerging topics related to air and water pollution, water use and management, aquatic ecosystems, energy and climate change, biodiversity, toxic substances in the environment and solid waste management are examined. Energy The second focus of this training is the energy sources and their impacts on the environment and on the companies. As scientists agree that rising emissions from burning fossil fuels is causing an increase in the world’s temperature, it is imperative that actions be taken to stabilize and reduce emissions. Sustainability Management The third focus of this training is sustainability management in organizations.
