Eligibility
Experienced cybersecurity and IT/ICT professionals who are involved in transitioning to and maintaining cloud-based solutions and services. Also, enterprise architects, security administrators, systems engineers, security architects, security consultants, security engineers, security managers, and system architects will all benefit from this course.
Pre-requisites
Candidates must have worked in IT for at least 5 years total, with at least 3 years in information security and 1 year in one or more of the 6 domains of the CCSP CBK. The CSA's CCSK certificate can be used in place of one year of experience in one or more of the CCSP CBK's six domains. Getting the CISSP certification from (ISC)2 can replace all CCSP experience requirements.
If a candidate doesn't have the required experience to become a CCSP, but does pass the CCSP exam, they can become an Associate of (ISC)2. Then, the Associate of (ISC)2 will have 6 years to get the 5 years of experience needed.
